Phoenix Mercury Los Angeles Sport reviews
Exciting Basketball
Took my granddaughter to watch Shoni Shimmel play as close to home as we could get and PHX was it. Really enjoyed the game, facility was very nice, seats were great. However, our biggest disappointment was treatment of the fans. We are there to see the stars and my granddaughter wanted autographs really bad. There were no posters, hardly any Mercury memorabilia and definitely nothing for the Dream. Only a select few were allowed to enter the area for Mercury autographs, luckily somehow we got in. Of course we were really there to see Shoni and get her autograph. She did a post game interview and was cutoff and escorted out without having opportunity to meet her fans. Needless to say no opportunities whatsoever for an autograph. Shoni Shimmel increased ticket sales by at least 3,000 people. You should have treated her and her fans better.
All You Can Eat - of SOME Foods!
The food available for the 'all you can eat' deal was popcorn, nachos, hotdogs, and soda pop. Lots of other food (and drinks) available, but it was not included in this deal. My food voucher was valued at $14, so if you were only going to get popcorn, hotdogs, and nachos, it was probably a good deal. If you wanted something else for your $14, you'd be better off just spending the $14 on what you wanted - even though that wouldn't go too far for stadium foods.
The seat was OK, but farther up than I expected and at one end of the basketball court - not under the basket, but definitely on one end of the visitor's side of the arena. You could see there were many open seats in better sections and closer to the court.
